Born in LA and raised in Minnesota. This guys parents are former priest and nun?(!)...its a classic 'artsy/musician' background. He started learning to play the piano at age 3.

my sister gave me a text that said 'cool song alert'. i heard this and and agreed, it's just really cool. after researching a bit on this American born artist who lived in Canada and France I also found out she died in 2010 at the age of 37 of breast cancer...saddened me enough to post on this blog and buy the album on amazon. very similar to Norah Jones, but imo musically better. the album is worth getting for sure. enjoy!
